1. Who we are
Move Out of California is an independent moving resource and free matching service. We are not a moving company and do not transport household goods. Moves are performed by independent, FMCSA-registered carriers. We do not provide moving services, estimates, or insurance, and we are not a broker of household goods transportation.
2. The matching service
When you submit a request, we share your information with up to three independent moving companies that may contact you. Any agreement you make for moving services is solely between you and that company. We do not guarantee the availability, price, quality or performance of any mover, and you are responsible for verifying any mover before hiring it.
3. Consent to be contacted
By submitting a request and checking the consent box, you agree to be contacted as described on our Consent to contact page. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
4. Informational content
Guides, calculators and cost ranges are for general information only and may be estimates or placeholders. They are not financial, tax or legal advice. Consult qualified professionals for your situation.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to submit false information, submit requests on behalf of others without permission, scrape the Site, or interfere with its operation.
6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any acts or omissions of moving companies.
7. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
